H E L P, a word for our work at CViE
CViE was established to “promote, improve, develop and maintain Christian values in education”. This is an ongoing purpose, and so our continued desire is to be a H E L P to parents, carers, children young people and those involved in and with an interest in education.
This we will endeavour to do by:
H olding meetings at various locations within the country, details of which are advertised locally and in periodicals, together with publishing this information on the website (www.cvie.org.uk).
E lectronic communications, as CViE seeks to use digital connectivity responsibly in keeping our supporters updated and aware of issues impacting on the education of children and young people.
L iterature, as CViE seeks to publish a range of materials, both in hardcopy and electronically, to support and be a help to those we seek to serve. Our publications are freely available to anyone that may wish to use them and include transcripts of talks, pamphlets, children’s activity booklets and newsletters.
P rayer and the Lord’s provision. Over the years that CViE has been in existence, we are conscious that “Hitherto hath the Lord helped us”. (1 Samuel 7:12)
It must also be noted that CViE can only be a help and support in as far as we understand what the needs are those we seeks to serve.
If there are any issues that you feel CViE needs to be aware of them please contact us on enquiries@cvie.org.uk or contribute to the forum under Education – General, the topic: “Issues facing Christians in education today”.
