Welcome to the CViE online review library of children’s and teen’s books.
Finding suitable books for our children can be a challenge, especially for avid readers. Bookshops offer a vast selection of titles—but many contain bad language, unbiblical ideas, or questionable themes that Christian parents may prefer their children not encounter, or would want to approach in a guided manner. On the other hand, there are many excellent and wholesome books available—so how do we find them? It’s impossible know what a book contains without reading it from cover to cover – however it’s simply not practical to preview every title. This is where the CViE community can help – by contributing a library of reviews together we can cover a much more extensive selection of books.
With this library, CViE’s goal is to offer objective reviews to assist you in making informed decisions. We recognize that families have diverse perspectives on what is appropriate, so we strive to present balanced, factual information rather than personal opinions. Please note that these reviews should not be taken as endorsements, recommendations or warnings from CViE. Instead, they are intended as a resource to support your own further research. We hope and pray it is useful.
