Truth in Science Summer School for Students, September 2022

Starting university can be very daunting, especially so for those from a Christian background. One of the challenges is that many courses will contain unbiblical teaching.

Truth in Science are running a two-day summer school which aims to help students – especially those doing a science degree – to stand firm on their beliefs and to defend the Christian worldview. The programme will include:

“Who am I: facts or feelings?”

“Adam or death – which came first?”

“The wonder of the human nervous system”

“What hills to die for in our stand for Truth”

There will also be two question times, and four break-out sessions on the themes of “Honouring the Lord in Academia”, “Being insurgents in a hostile academic setting”, “Making good choices when moving away from home”, “What hills to die for in our stand for Truth.”  The full programme is available here.

The TiS Summer School will be held September 2-3 at Yarnfield Park, Stone, Staffordshire.

Friday registration will open at 10am and the conference will finish by 4.30pm on the Saturday. Pastor Derrick Morlan (Oxford Baptist Chapel) will round off the 2 days with a final Bible address to all the young people.
