Act NOW to re-gain lost ground in RSE
ACT (Association of Christian Teachers) has drawn the attention of CViE to a matter worthy of urgent attention.
The activist organization Stonewall has been exposed as an unsuitable partner for schools, and its ‘Diversity Champions’ scheme is being exited by bodies such as Ofsted and the Equality and Human Rights Commission. This loss of status is set out in detail by Dr. Carys Moseley (Christian Concern) in an article entitled, ‘The writing is on the wall for Stonewall’.
It is very possible that your local school is currently accessing Stonewall resources and now is the time to make contact to have them removed from the RSE programme of teaching. As ACT reports, Christian Concern’s Steve Beegoo has prepared a useful summary and a template to equip parents to approach schools – access these here.
There is a time to act, in the fear of the Lord, when success may be more likely, and this is one of those times.
One of the sad by-products of the ‘Transgender Agenda’ has been gender confusion which is an issue that is receiving attention in the press, and thus in the schools. Parents who want to be informed and able to protect their children from these influences will be helped from an article in the April 2021 Evangelical Times, “Gender confusion spreading – what can parents do?” Christians need to be aware – and thus prepared – for what is an increasingly aggressive lobby that seeks to suppress debate. In this article, Christians with knowledge or experience of this area offer counsel to parents on how to respond.” The article can be read by clicking here.
