Update from Truth in Science
Truth in Science were delighted to receive almost 80 students and young people during the recent TiS Student Summer School held in Shropshire. As well as being helpfully reminded of the vital importance of the Gospel to deal with the fast-changing scene in our country, many questions were asked and answering during active question panel times and private conversations . Many were present who had never been to anything like it before and were full of thanks to the Lord for the opportunity to learn and be prepared for the onslaught that many of them are facing at University and College.

[ CViE is pleased to support those who aim to equip and encourage students who approach their disciplines with a robust view of the Bible. We pray for the Lord’s provision of Christian leadership in the fields of medicine, law and the humanities, in philosophy, social sciences and politics and especially to grow future pastors who will stand firmly on the Scriptures in fellowships they lead in this country or as missionaries abroad. We counted ourselves blessed to have Andy McIntosh from TiS with us DV at our National Conference on September 25, 2021. ]

Starting university can be very daunting, especially so for those from a Christian background. One of the challenges is that many courses will contain unbiblical teaching.
Truth in Science are running a two-day summer school which aims to help students – especially those doing a science degree – to stand firm on their beliefs and to defend the Christian worldview. Well-known experts (such as Andy Macintosh, Paul Garner and Steve Taylor) will be leading sessions on a range of topics over the two days. Additionally, a current student, Jess Stevens, will share her experience of believing in creation while studying a course rooted in evolution.
The TiS Summer School will be held September 3-4 at Cloverley Hall in Shropshire and is just £30 for the 2 days.
