In His Image

‘In His Image’ is documentary produced by the American Family Association and is described as “a  critical and urgent message designed to equip the church to answer culturally controversial questions about gender and sexuality from a biblical perspective. Every church in America is filled with hurting people asking these tough questions: Can you be gay and be a Christian? What if someone genuinely feels trapped in the wrong body? Did God make me this way? Is change even possible? This feature-length documentary presents much-needed truth with compassion and clarity through powerful personal testimonies, careful Bible teaching, and scientific evidence”.

In many ways, this documentary is an eye-opener as to what the devastating impact of homosexuality and transgenderism (and abuse) has on individuals, families, churches and society.

Yet in it all, the truth of those words “Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them” (Hebrews 7:25) shines through in the lives of those who were “afar off are made nigh by the blood of Christ”. (Ephesians 2:13)

Although there may be cultural and church practice differences in the documentary, this does not detract from the ideological attacks that are being made on the teachings and truths of the Bible and the pain and damage that these ideologies bring to individuals (often young people) and those around them. The documentary is also as a timely reminder that even Christian families are not exempt from these dangers.

Although the documentary is 104 minutes long, it is certainly worth the time investment and can be found, for personal viewing, here – as attested to by this feedback already obtained from one of our CViE supporters:
